MATHEMATICIAN AND MELODY MAKER

Hi! My name is Grayden Brock and I'm a graduate of the University of Virginia with a double major in Economics and Music. With hopes of remedying the educational concerns that accompanied remote learning during Covid, I left my job at a learning center chain in spring of 2020 to launch my own online math and music lesson service.

I've been teaching math professionally since 2015, and have been teaching music both independently and through Music & Arts since 2021. I developed a passion for picking up new instruments at a young age - starting with the piano and soon after broadening my horizons to also learn guitar, drums, and bass. During my time at UVA, I worked on solo music, and eventually started writing and producing songs with my own band; since graduating, I have continued to pursue musical projects with bands in a number of different genres.

I have already dedicated years of my life to the pursuit of education, and I am now working full-time to pursue this business and the success of my students. I want to make a tangible difference in as many lives as I can, and I hope to have opportunities to do so for years to come.
